My little inside tidbit on this: They actually weren’t planning on playing that song. but David (the host) requested it because Marcus was noodling with the song during soundcheck…and even though Marcus admitted they barely knew the song, they played it for the set.
Marcus flubbed the lyrics while soundchecking…the “Loop and Lil agree she’s a sight to see” line. When they attempted it the first time during the actual session, Marcus got the lyrics correct…but put the line in the first verse instead of the second and was like “Ahhhh, I still fucked it up!” :D This version is the second go round…and you can kind of hear him smiling in the song when he does get the lyrics correct. :)Reblogging my own post because EVERYONE NEEDS TO HEAR HOW AMAZING THIS COVER IS
